STUDY ABRAOD IN HANGZHOU, CHINA
ZHEJIANG UNIVERSITY
2016
During the summer of 2016, I had the amazing opportunity to study abroad through the college of engineering at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. I completed Mechanics of Materials, Technical Communications, and Introductory Mandarin while there. The class also took fieldtrips to Chinese industrial factories such as Actuator Motors.
Not only did I learn a lot in the classroom, I was able to interact with Chinese Scholars on campus. I also traveled and navigated a country outside of the United States for the first time. These communication and problem-solving skills exhibit cultural and real-world competencies I still use today.
