Design Competition
2018
Medtronic, Biomedical Engineering Society(BMES), and Coulter College hosted a design competition at the headquarters of Medtronic in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The goal of the three day competition was to design and pitch an idea for a given problem. The focus was on global health with an emphasis on low cost solutions.
During this competition I got the chance to meet with industry stake holders as mentors for our designs. We also socialized and networked with people from different states and even countries(pictured above is the UW Madison team and a team from Colombia.) Our team took first place at every single award given during the competition.
